School_1: 5G Cellular Networks and Internet of Things

The School_1 of the SCAVENGE training program aims at providing knowledge on different topics related to 5G cellular architecture and Internet of Things, such as:
- Cellular architecture evolution
- Long Term Evolution (LTE) and Evolved Packet Core (EPC)
- Software Defined Networks (SDN)
- Network Function Virtualization (NFV)
- Machine-type communication
- Reinforcement learning*
- High dimensional data analysis
- Entrepreneurship
Renowned professors and researchers as well as the SCAVENGE supervisors will take care of the different classes of the school.

The school is open to external audience (Master and PhD students, post-docs, researchers, etc.) free of charge.
